In the Mostovsky district there are many churches that belong to the retrospective Russian style, reflecting different views on this direction in architecture. The temple in the village of Gudevichi, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin, stands out for its three-tier hipped bell tower. It was built in 1852.
The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin is one of the few that has been operating since its opening even during the war period and has remained active to this day. In the middle of the 20th century, the priest Vitaly Zheleznyakovich worked in this church, who conducted all services only in his native Belarusian language. He greatly honored the Belarusian culture and was a true patriot of his region.
